What does TAGUARD actually protect against?

Do my customers need an app or special reader?
No. ChaosMark authentication is verified with a standard smartphone tap. BLE temperature data is read by TAG GT01 gateways or phones you deploy across your line and cold chain.
How accurate and how far does the BLE beacon reach?
The TAG K5PT uses Long-Range (PHY Coded) BLE on the nRF52833 chip with up to ~800 m range — customers have reached 1,100 m in open-field tests with the TAG GT01 gateway.
